Wade is a litigation, electronic discovery and information technology professional. He leads the firm’s Electronic Discovery and Litigation Support Services Group and is a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS).

With over 45 years of experience, Wade specializes in maximizing the firm’s performance through strategic design, management and implementation of technology and resources. In addition to leading the firm’s Litigation Support Group, he spearheads educational initiatives for litigators and staff on E-Discovery issues and litigation technology best practices, is proactive in researching opportunities for the firm’s Artificial Intelligence Group, and is an administrator of the firm’s use of Kira for intelligent contract analysis. Wade consults with firm attorneys, client in-house counsel and client IT professionals on litigation discovery and collection matters to develop customized strategies with consideration of existing IT data infrastructure, records management policies, case issues and case proportionality.

Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, Wade held technology leadership positions in law firms and with vendors servicing the legal field. In those roles, he managed application development, mentored technology professionals and launched numerous legal technology initiatives, including national and international data center designs.
