David Jackson is the General Counsel at Vitruvian Partners, a London-based global private equity firm.  He started his career at Freshfields, before moving to Barclays where he held a number of roles over 17 years, including Barclays Europe General Counsel and General Council for the Corporate Centre.  During his time at Barclays, David was responsible for many diversity and citizenship initiatives.  He has a particular interest in equipping young people from diverse and socially mobile backgrounds to enter into and succeed in the legal profession, at the same time as influencing law firms to embrace and enable the power and value of diversity.
