Dave Hart is a General Counsel with extensive international legal experience spanning telecommunications and financial services. Until recently, he served as Head of Legal Affairs for the Europe and Latin America regions at Ericsson, where he led a team of 55 professionals across over 100 jurisdictions. He is currently supporting group-level strategic projects and transformation activities at Ericsson. Dave is also serving as the President of the Association of Corporate Counsel Europe, having served on the ACC Europe board for six years, an association focussed on advancing the interests of in-house counsel across the region.

Prior to Ericsson Dave held several legal leadership roles at BT, including as the Legal Director for BT’s international business, BT Global, that provides global security, cloud and networking services to multinational companies and governments across 180 countries. Before moving into the telecommunications space, Dave spent ten years in financial services, working at Morgan Stanley and Barclays, where he focused on litigation and investigations. His career began at Allen & Overy.

Dave has demonstrated a strong track record in legal transformation, having led award-winning teams. Originally from South Africa, Dave grew up in Johannesburg and is qualified as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
