Dipali Sahni is General Counsel for Demica, a leading FinTech in the working capital sector, which she joined in 2017. She is a member of the Senior Management Team where she is involved in all strategic decisions taken by the group and manages its legal, risk and compliance functions. Dipali is co-chair of Demica’s ESG Committee.

After qualifying as a Solicitor in 2003, she worked as an Associate at the London office of the international law firm Sidley Austin, before spending six years in New York working in structured finance, both at Sidley and later as a Vice President on the securitized products trading desk at Morgan Stanley. After returning to London she was General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at MW Eaglewood, an asset manager which was then part of the Marshall Wace group, before moving to Demica.

Since 2015, Dipali has served as a Director and Board Trustee of the Akram Khan Dance Company. She is passionate about education as a driver for social mobility and equality and has mentored and volunteered throughout her career for organizations such as Pencil’s Business and Public School Partnership Programme in New York and the Absolute Return for Kids Programme in London. During her time at Morgan Stanley, was a Committee Member of Morgan Stanley’s Global Environmental and Social Finance Steering Committee.
