Kate is the Global Director of Legal – Operations at Ricardo plc. She has previously undertaken various legal leadership roles across start-up, scale-up, multinational and global environments. She relishes the opportunity to champion the impact of legal transformation, innovation and technology and act as a legal disruptor by challenging outdated legal sector norms to create best-in-class legal functions. Kate is passionate about diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) and social mobility - particularly in the context of diversifying the legal profession and enhancing a sense of belonging for every intersection of society. She recognises the plague of imposter syndrome in the legal community and regularly mentors junior lawyers and facilitates #IAmRemarkable workshops to initiate open and honest conversation.
