David Tadmor’s areas of expertise are competition law, M&A, government regulation and banking law. David represents leading multinational clients as well as many of Israel’s largest financial institutions and publicly traded companies.

In 2005, David formed Tadmor & Co. with 3 associates, later to become Tadmor Levy & Co. – a leading Israeli law firm with 130 lawyers and trainees. The firm specializes in M&A and technology, litigation, competition/antitrust, project finance, infrastructure and energy, banking and payment systems, government regulation and administrative law, transportation, health, real estate, labor law, securities regulation, and environmental law.

Widely-recognized as a foremost expert in competition law and regulation, David served as the Director General of the Israel Competition Authority. Under his tenure the ICA tripled in size and much of the foundations for Israel’s competition law and enforcement policies were laid. A testament to his stellar reputation, David is described by Chambers Global as "the number one antitrust lawyer". As a leading government regulation lawyer, David regularly represents major clients before governmental bodies and legislative committees and has been involved in many of Israel’s major regulatory reforms.

David has more than 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions – public companies, private equity, privatizations, cross-border technology, and other transactions. An expert in banking law, David regularly represents Israel’s largest banking institutions.

David spent five years as a corporate attorney with the New York law firm of Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz (WLRK), a senior partner at a leading mergers and acquisition firm in Tel Aviv, and an adjunct professor at Israel’s prominent academic institutions. He received his first degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and his masters and doctoral degrees from NYU School of Law. David is a member of the Israel and New York State bar associations.
