ALM is pleased to welcome our professional communities back to in-person events!
Our top priority remains the health and safety of our attendees, sponsors, speakers, and staff. By adhering to Covid-19 safety guidelines established by local health authorities, we believe that we, along with our venue partners, can create a safe, welcoming environment for our communities to share the experiences they rely on ALM to provide. Failure to comply with all Covid-19 safety protocols will result in immediate removal from the event.
Updated COVID-19 Protocols
We want to assure you that we are committed to providing a safe environment for all. In light of the rising number of COVID-19 cases globally, we are requiring all registered attendees, speakers, sponsors and staff to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of arrival to participate in the conference.

On arrival
- Have your NHS covid pass or test result (either via the NHS Covid app, SMS or email) ready for inspection in the queue.
- Continue inside to collect your badge.
Please note, if you are not able to provide us with proof of vaccination or a negative lateral flow test result, you will not be able to enter the event.
Entry Process for International Attendees
Before you travel to England – fully vaccinated (see here for UK approved vaccines)
Before you travel to England you must:
- Book and pay for a COVID-19 test – to be taken before the end of day 2 in England.
- Complete a passenger locator form – to be completed in the 48 hours before you arrive in England.
You will need to enter your COVID-19 test booking reference number on your passenger locator form.
From 24 October fully vaccinated passengers arriving in England from countries not on the red list can take a cheaper lateral flow test, instead of a PCR test, on or before day 2 of their arrival into the UK. These can be booked from 22 October. Passengers will need to take a photo of their lateral flow test and booking reference supplied by the private provider and send it back to them to verify the result. Passengers are also able to book to have a test which they can take on their arrival into the UK at testing centres located in some airports.
Before the event
- Pre order the free lateral flow testing kit to your hotel/accommodation.
- Send a photo of the completed test back to the provider to verify the result.
- Be prepared to show proof of vaccination on arrival at the event OR proof of a negative lateral flow test taken within 72 hours.
On arrival
- Have your test result (either via SMS or email) or proof of vaccination ready for inspection in the queue.
- You will then be able to check in to the event.
- Continue inside to collect your badge.
Before you travel to England – not fully vaccinated
Before you travel to England you must:

- Book and pay for day 2 and day 8 COVID-19 tests – to be taken after arrival in England
- Complete a passenger locator form – to be completed in the 48 hours before you arrive in England
Read more about taking a COVID-19 test before you travel to England.
When you arrive in England – not fully vaccinated
After you arrive in England you must:
- Quarantine at home or in the place you are staying for 10 days
- Take your pre-booked COVID-19 test on or before day 2 and on or after day 8 – you must book these tests before you travel
If you are in England for less than 10 days, you need to quarantine for the time you are here. You need to book day 2 and day 8 travel tests. You only need to take the tests if you are still in England on those days.
Test to Release scheme
If you need to quarantine, you may be able to end quarantine early if you pay for a private COVID-19 test through the Test to Release scheme.
Please note, if you are not able to provide us with proof of vaccination or a negative lateral flow test result, you will not be able to enter the event.
