The Notion of Vision and Purpose

“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” - Viktor Frankl
Join us at the Global General Counsel Forum 2021, taking place on the shores of Lake Como at the world-famous Villa d’Este surrounded by a wonderful 10-hectare private park.

The Global General Counsel Forum is unique and is designed to bring together global general counsel from around the world to learn from some of the most inspiring leaders and hone their own leadership skills, whilst having the opportunity to discuss the global issues that face them in their roles today.

The theme of the 2020 forum is ‘The Notion of Vision and Purpose’. The programme is designed to challenge you to define your own personal brand and leadership style for today and for the future. Building upon the theme of the conference, our opening keynote will inspire you with their own account of driving change in turbulent times and will demonstrate that leadership is not about command and control, but vision and strategy.

We have selected keynotes from various fields to enrich your learning, inspire change and provide you with a different perspective that you can share with your team and the Board. You will hear from executive coaches, advisors to the British Royal Family, a BBC journalist, a former undercover CIA Agent, world-famous professors and transformational leaders in the field of strategy and innovation. They will comment on and illustrate the global problems that we all face and then you, together, will contemplate the solutions for the modern GC.

SOLAGE, NAPA VALLEY

A fresh and vibrant Napa Valley escape.

A century ago, Calistoga was a town centered around its bubbling natural hot springs and the beautiful weather of the Napa Valley. Today, it’s a bucket-list destination for ardent wine lovers, foodies and wellness seekers for its particularly enviable version of the “good life.” Solage was created to reflect its hometown spirit, drawing visitors as well as area vintners who come here after a day in the vineyards to relax over a glass of wine or a craft cocktail and connect.
