Nancy Roberts is Vice President Legal - Finance & Corporate at Pearson Plc, with responsibility for Mergers and Acquisitions. Nancy trained at Herbert Smith Freehills, spending 10 years in their corporate department working on public and private M&A matters before making the move in house to Pearson in 2015. Her team supports M&A across the business globally, working closely with Corporate Development and the relevant business units. She also supports head office functions (such as tax and treasury), as well as advising on general listed company matters. Nancy was closely involved in the establishment of Pearson Ventures, Pearson’s corporate venture fund and sits as a director of the fund. She lives in London with her husband and two daughters.
