Speaker Bio
With over 25 years’ communications experience in both public and private sectors, Patrick provides strategic communications advice to Chief Executives, HNWIs, and other senior-level clients across a broad range of sectors including financial, manufacturing, retail and entertainment. Work includes executive profiling, proactive stakeholder engagement, issues and crisis management, internal communications and media training. Recent clients include GSK, IBM, Sanofi, Brown Brothers Harriman, Nespresso, and Mastercard as well as Government Ministers and a number of private clients and family offices.

Initially a journalist, and then a UK Government spokesperson for eight years, Patrick was The Prince of Wales’ Press Secretary for over ten years, playing a key role in rejuvenating HRH's reputation, introducing his wife to public life and protecting Princes William’s and Harry's privacy. By changing the way in which the Royal Household communicated, off and online, Patrick more effectively promoted the work and role of The Prince, his family, and associated organisations. He led the multi-stakeholder communications teams for two royal weddings and official tours to 37 countries.

In 2010 Patrick was made a Lieutenant of the Victorian Order (LVO) in recognition of his work for The Prince of Wales.
