Gail and her business partner were the driving force behind the phenomenal success of Benefit Cosmetics in the UK & Ireland; bringing the brand over from San Francisco 25 years ago - before launching Benefit in Mainland Europe and providing the template for global expansion.

This exciting journey resulted in Benefit growing from 'start up' to the No1 Premium Make-Up Brand in the UK, where it remains today - whilst also helping establish Benefit as a major global player.

Gail has broad experience in the beauty business, initially at Estee Lauder in Sales and Training Management before starting her own consultancy, advising & helping more traditional brands drive sales through developing, motivating and empowering their teams to be the best they can be.

Today at Pink Shepherd, she is using 30 plus years of experience in beauty brand building and people management to help develop strategy, guide and support, to maximise the potential in up and coming British beauty brands/retailers - specifically those with distinctively different personalities that require creativity, imagination and entrepreneurial thinking.

Gail is known for her inclusive and empathetic approach and is a great supporter of fun featuring prominently at work. She places a high value on people and believes strongly that they are the key to any successful business.
