Eric P. Mandel is the Director of Global Advisory Services at KLDiscovery, serving as a consulting and testifying expert in the areas of eDiscovery, information governance, data privacy and data protection, regulatory data compliance, and the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the law.

Eric is Chambers-ranked attorney and technologist who works with clients in the United States and internationally to address complex issues at the intersection of law and technology. In addition to providing expert testimony, Eric serves as a discovery neutral and a 30(b)(6) designated corporate representative.

Eric has held senior leadership roles in several prominent non-profit trade associations and educational organizations, including The Sedona Conference, EDRM, the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), and the Legal Technology Professionals Institute (LTPI). He has presented extensively on a broad range of topics within his areas of expertise and has authored, drafted, and edited numerous publications and articles, including The Sedona Principles, Third Edition, Best Practices, Recommendations & Principles for Addressing Electronic Document Production (The Sedona Conference Working Group 1), Records Retention for Enterprise Information Governance (BBNA), the Minnesota eDiscovery Deskbook (MinnCLE).
