Shivan Mehta is a Legal Engineer at Harvey and one of the founding members of Harvey's Dallas office. Before Harvey, he spent his career on both sides of technology and the law: as Senior Counsel at Microsoft and Oracle, where he focused on technology transactions, cybersecurity, and privacy, and before that as an IP litigator at Thompson & Knight and Alston & Bird. He now sits at the intersection of law and AI, helping legal teams evaluate, trust, and adopt legal AI technology at scale. Shivan proudly supports his alma mater, The University of Texas, and has 2 beautiful daughters who take up all of his time outside of the office.
