Afigo is a senior legal executive and business strategist with extensive experience leading complex litigation, regulatory enforcement, intellectual property, labor and employment, and corporate legal matters on a global scale. As Chief Litigation & Managing Counsel at Verisk, she oversees legal and contractual matters across a global portfolio of companies and played a key role in building the organization’s Government Affairs function from the ground up. She regularly advises C-suite executives and boards of directors on enterprise risk management, regulatory strategy, and operational efficiency, including spearheading the integration of AI-driven legal tools to modernize legal workflows and enhance service delivery.
Prior to joining Verisk, Ms. Fadahunsi was a partner in private practice, where she focused on high-stakes products liability litigation, appellate advocacy, and intellectual property matters within the media and entertainment industry.
A graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, Afigo is also a recognized thought leader and published author on privacy, media, and technology law topics. She has held leadership roles within the American Bar Association and is known for her thoughtful, business-oriented approach to legal and regulatory challenges. Afigo also volunteers as a judge in regional and national moot court competitions, mentoring students on refining their oral advocacy skills, legal reasoning and courtroom presence.
