Jeannine Taylor is Deputy General Counsel for Keck Medicine of USC, where she leads the legal team for USC’s health system and provides strategic counsel on corporate acquisitions, complex healthcare initiatives, and governance for affiliated entities. She has played a key role in major institutional milestones, including leading the affiliation with USC Arcadia Hospital and helping establish USC’s health system board.
Before joining USC, Jeannine practiced healthcare law at Foley & Lardner LLP. Her commitment to ethical, patient-centered healthcare was shaped by early experience as a certified nursing assistant caring for hospice patients and later through service on a clinical trial institutional review board supporting research for patients with HIV and cancer.
A respected leader in the legal and healthcare communities, Jeannine is a past President of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and currently serves on its Board of Directors. She is also an Associate Director for Wescom Financial. She frequently speaks on leadership, legal strategy, governance, and the evolving intersection of law and healthcare.
She earned her J.D. from the USC Gould School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from UC Irvine, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
