Chris Rucinski is a vice president in the Forensic Services Practice at CRA. With 15 years of litigation consulting experience, he specializes in computer source code analysis and has testified as an expert in a broad range of disputes across multiple industries.
He has served as an expert witness in patent, trade secret, copyright, trademark, and class action matters, and his clients include Internet service providers, data aggregators, supply chain management companies, hardware distributors, web site developers, video game developers, and professional sports organizations. Chris has also provided consulting services for the FTC. He has been a testifying expert since 2013, testifying on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.
Prior to joining CRA, Chris was the Managing Director of a boutique litigation consulting firm where he oversaw all engagements and managed business operations. He previously worked for a startup as a software developer of Android applications.
Chris brings a combination of technical depth and litigation acumen to every engagement, drawing on his background in software development and forensic analysis. His speaking engagements have addressed topics ranging from software-related discovery considerations to systems-oriented prior art searching.
