Evan Meyerson is a Managing Director who leads Burford's US commercial investment team, with responsibility for overseeing the underwriting and origination functions.

Prior to joining Burford, Evan was a litigator at Paul, Weiss and at Sullivan & Cromwell. His practice focused on complex civil litigation in federal and state court, antitrust, white collar defense, bankruptcy litigation, corporate internal investigations, and government investigations into sanctions, anti-money laundering, and accounting issues. Evan began his career as an analyst at Bain Capital, evaluating venture capital investment opportunities.

Evan graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he served as Managing Editor of the Harvard National Security Journal. He graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College. He clerked for the Honorable Royce C. Lamberth of the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
