As head of Licensing & Acquisitions for Abbott, I lead the legal function and team in supporting Abbott’s global M&A, licensing and other strategic transactions. I provide strategic and leadership oversight of Abbott’s business development approach and activities, working closely with the other legal professionals and the company’s stakeholders, especially the corporate Business Development team and Executive Leadership Team. Prior to this role, I was responsible for global M&A, divestitures, private equity investments and licensing transactions for two Abbott divisions.

Prior to rejoining Abbott in 2024, as the Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions, Licensing and Corporate Securities for Organon (a publicly traded global pharmaceutical company in Jersey City, NJ), I led the legal function and team in supporting Organon’s corporate securities regulation and compliance, global M&A, licensing and other strategic transactions.

As a former corporate partner at Winston & Strawn LLP and Jenner & Block LLP and associate at Kirkland & Ellis, I represented public and private companies in a variety of industries in domestic and international transactions, as well as private equity clients in business acquisitions and mergers. In addition, I advised public and private corporate borrowers, financial institutions, and private equity investors in a variety of corporate lending transactions. Prior to attending law school, I was a manager in the financial consulting practice of Arthur Andersen LLP in Chicago.
