Oyango A. Snell is the President & CEO of the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC), the association for legal operations professionals. As a lawyer, Oyango has served in multiple roles spanning two decades, including a law firm, government, in-house, and solo practice. He previously served as Visiting Professor of Law at the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law, CEO and Executive Director of the California Lawyers Association, and Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of the Western States Petroleum Association. With nearly 20 years’ experience in legal, legislative, regulatory, and corporate affairs, Oyango is recognized internationally for his leadership and innovative approach to organizational transformation. A proud Buckeye, relentless optimist, and devoted father of two boys, Brennan and Carter, Oyango's legal career began in Ohio where he received his bachelor's degree from Central State University, MBA from Franklin University, and law degree from The Ohio State University.
