Allison Ray is Director and Associate General Counsel at Workday, where she heads the global Corporate Investigations program and leads a team providing strategic counsel on regulatory compliance and enterprise risk. Prior to joining Workday, Allison was a Litigation & Investigations Partner at Kirkland & Ellis, representing corporate clients in high-stakes disputes and internal inquiries. Before her career in private practice, she served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, prosecuting a wide range of federal offenses. Allison began her legal career as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Allison earned her B.A. at Harvard College and her J.D. from Harvard Law School.
