Nia M. Jenkins, JD, CIPP/US is a senior legal executive, cross-functional leader, and strategic business adviser. She has about 20 years of experience in public and private companies operating in heavily regulated industries (such as health technology), as well as a top law firm. She is regularly tapped by leadership to help design, drive and deploy initiatives for revenue growth, product development, risk management, process improvement, and operations. Over the course of her career, Nia has served as a general counsel and a key partner in business development, marketing, sales, client relationship management, strategic partnerships, corporate and technology transactions, corporate finance, corporate governance, IP protection and monetization, compliance, data governance, M&A, outsourcing, vendor management, and more. As a corporate legal department team leader, Nia manages legal operations, budgets, and talent.

Since 2021, Nia has been a with Surescripts, a health information technology company dedicated to simplifying health intelligence sharing—improving care for patients and better supporting those who serve them. As VP, Legal Affairs, Nia directly counsels Surescripts’ C-suite leadership and their respective teams, on product strategy and development, data sourcing, commercial opportunities, employment, litigation, anti-trust and other matters requiring cross-product and cross-segment knowledge. Nia presently serves on the Board of Surescripts Health Information Network, LLC and as Corporate Secretary.

Nia has been a regular speaker on technology transactions, risk management, compliance, and leadership. Nia is a mom to Azad (9) and Zara (8).
