Valérie Fleming is a senior member of International Motors’ Legal Department and manages a multidisciplinary team responsible for global corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property, as well as enterprise functions including information governance, privacy, AI, cybersecurity, and records management.

Before joining International Motors in May 2026, Valérie served as Associate General Counsel at CDK Global, where she advised on CVR matters, marketing, and governmental affairs, and supported a wide range of transactional and compliance initiatives. Her work included matters related to OEM relationships, integrations, and data access. Prior to CDK Global, Valérie worked at AAR CORP. in Illinois where she handled domestic and international transactional matters, all matters related to the company’s global corporate governance program, and data privacy and security matters for the company. Valérie started her in-house career by advising various divisions throughout her 11 years career at Caterpillar Inc., both in the United States and in Belgium, covering activities in the US, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia. Prior to becoming an in-house counsel, Valérie provided transactional and regulatory support for corporate clients in the insurance and financial services industries at Sidley Austin and in the financial and brokerage industries at Foley Lardner in Chicago. Valérie graduated from the Université Catholique de Louvain with a Licence en Droit and received her L.L.M. and J.D. from the University of Illinois - College of Law.
