Carlos Gámez has over 15 years of experience as a business executive, strategist, founder, and operator in information, software, and services for legal professionals. He also practiced IP law in one of Mexico's leading law firms, before earning a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Stanford Law School and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
He spent nearly a decade in various global roles at Thomson Reuters, including in: innovation, strategy, corporate development, legal operations, and critical initiatives / program management. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer for one of the largest managed service providers in the legal industry, and led product and growth for a contract technology startup, prior to launching his own. He regularly advises private equity investors and startup founders on legal technology strategy, go-to-market and transaction-related due diligence. He is currently a legal tech advisor for Wolters Kluwer's Legal & Regulatory U.S. business.
