Emily oversees both litigation and regulatory at Kellanova (formerly Kellogg’s), a global manufacturer of snack foods such as Pringles, Pop-Tarts, Cheez-Its, and Rice Krispies Treats. Her litigation work involves everything from single-plaintiff discrimination suits to joint-defendant ultra-processed food litigation, multi-party antitrust cases, false labeling and advertising, pension disputes, and everything in between. Her regulatory docket spans both corporate matters and 13 domestic facilities, where she oversees interactions with federal, state, and municipal actors, including (but not limited to) the FDA, the FTC, OSHA, and the EPA.

Emily is a proud graduate of the University of Virginia and the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. She clerked for the Honorable Robert W. Gettleman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and she spent many years in private practice before joining private practice, most recently as a litigation partner in the Chicago office of Benesch.

Outside of work, Emily serves as the co-chair of the Grants Committee for Friends of Prentice, a non-profit that raises money for grants funding research for women’s health care, and on the board of the Make-Believe Association, a theatre company creating original productions addressing current social issues and featuring local Chicago artists.
