Kijsa J. Phillips serves as Deputy General Counsel, M&A, Strategy, and Venture Capital, at The Kraft Heinz Company. In this role, she is responsible for leading the global legal team that provides strategic and tactical support to the M&A, M&A Execution, and Venture Capital teams. During her time at Kraft Heinz, her scope has also included leading legal support for the Company’s Procurement, Real Estate, Environmental, and Occupational Risk Management functions.

Ms. Phillips has had broad exposure to a variety of practice areas including private equity, supply chain contracts, fund formation, aviation law, and general commercial matters with a primary focus on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. In addition to the CPG industry, she has worked in the pharmaceutical space as in-house M&A counsel and in real estate investment management.

Ms. Phillips was named to Savoy Magazine’s 2024 “Most Influential Lawyers” list. She received her A.B. from Harvard University, her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and her M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
