Kip Randall is a partner at Husch Blackwell in the Kansas City office and is a member of the White Collar, Internal Investigations, and Compliance practice group. He has extensive experience in private practice defending government investigations, specifically leading and conducting internal investigations on behalf of companies. Kip also has a wide range of experience responding to grand jury subpoenas and civil investigative demands from government agencies such as the Department of Justice (DOJ), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and various state attorneys general’s offices. As a member of Husch Blackwell’s eDiscovery group, Kip also coordinates with client IT departments to identify and collect necessary data to respond to the government and/or further the company’s internal investigation.

Before pursuing a legal career, Kip was a US Army Infantry Officer for eight years. Once becoming a lawyer, Kip served as a criminal defense attorney with the US Army JAG Corps and then clerked in the US District Court for the District of Kansas before going into private practice.
