Michael Booden is Senior Technology Counsel with Hub International, the 5th largest insurance brokerage and benefits provider in the world with over 19,000 employees and $5 billion in annual revenue. At Hub, he has a leadership role where he is charged with negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements with a concentration on technology agreements. Michael’s responsibilities also include representing Hub in commercial disputes and drafting and implementing policies, e.g., Policy for Using General Artificial Intelligence in the Workplace.
For the past eleven years, Michael has also served as an Adjunct Law Professor at The University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. He is an Arbitrator with the American Bar Association, a Board Member of the Illinois Chapter of the Center for Conflict Resolution and a volunteer leader with Chicago Chapter of ACC and ACC National.
Michael has written publications that have appeared in the ACC Docket, Chicago Bar Record and IICLE. He has spoken on topics including cryptocurrency, SaaS negotiations, cybersecurity, building privacy programs, avoiding mass arbitration claims, and creating a successful legal career strategy on behalf of ACC, The Chicago Bar Association, The Masters Conference and other organizations.
