Janelle Carter Anderson is General Counsel to the Applied Solutions Group of The Heico Companies, LLC, a global holding company with more than 80 operating companies in industrial manufacturing, metals, and construction. Since 2020, Janelle has been responsible for the strategic legal leadership of the Applied Solutions Group. The Applied Solutions Group consists of 24 industrial manufacturing companies providing components, engineered products, and industrial services across six segments (cargo control, aviation, electronics, thermal, metals, and recycling). Her practice focuses on commercial transactions, intellectual property, supply chain, and M&A for all 24 operating companies in the Americas, EMEA and APAC. She also manages corporate governance, as Assistant Secretary to the holding company.

Janelle began her career as a Law Clerk to Judge Julian A. Cook, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She then practiced at two law firms prior to several roles with increased responsibility as in-house counsel. Janelle earned her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and Bachelor of Arts from Spelman College.
