Ryan Harding is Deputy General Counsel at GE Appliances where he leads Litigation and Risk Management. Prior to joining GE Appliances, Ryan was Associate General Counsel at two Chicago-based energy companies where he managed litigation. He also served as Chief of Staff to the General Counsel and Legal Operations Lead as part of his work for one of the energy companies. Before going in-house, Ryan was a litigator with outside law firms, most recently with a large Chicago-based firm. Ryan is active in the legal community. He was a 2023 Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Executive Leadership Institute Fellow and 2016 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow, is the immediate past President of Greater Chicago Legal Clinic’s Board of Directors, and has been a panelist at various legal events. Ryan received a JD from Howard University School of Law where he was a member of the Howard Law Journal and Trial Advocacy Moot Court Team. He received an MBA and BBA from Tennessee State University.
