Creative and practical problem-solving attorney with law firm and in-house legal experience advocating for innovation through smart use of legal technology! Passionate about evolving law into an inclusive and diverse profession.

I graduated cum laude from New York University School of Law in 2002, where I represented clients as a member of the school's Immigrant Rights Clinic and I served as the Colloquium Editor of the Environmental Law Journal. I practiced with Heller Ehrman in Menlo Park and then moved back to New York City where I litigated with Heller Ehrman and then Steptoe & Johnson LLP.

Moving to Raleigh, I honed my craft further as an associate and Of Counsel with boutique firm Ellis & Winters LLP.

I began my in-house counsel adventure with ABB. When the Power Grids business of ABB transitioned to Hitachi Energy, I moved with it into the sustainable energy future!

In 2007, I won first-place in the legal fiction writing contest sponsored by the New York Law Journal with my short story "Sue Generous." I am rated AV® Preeminent™ in Martindale-Hubbell. I was recognized by Super Lawyers as a North Carolina Rising Star in Business Litigation for 2014, 2015, and 2016.
