John Albright, HUB International Limited’s Chief Legal Officer, joined the Executive Management Team in May 2014. Albright is a seasoned, business-focused executive with 20 years of legal and commercial management experience in public, private and private equity-owned company and large law firm settings. While serving as the general counsel for several multinational corporations in complex and vastly different market segments, Albright amassed a record of building and leading highly efficient legal departments that effectively supported the achievement of commercial objectives.


Janelle Anderson
Janelle Carter Anderson is General Counsel to the Applied Solutions Group of The Heico Companies, LLC, a global holding company with more than 80 operating companies in industrial manufacturing, metals, and construction. Since 2020, Janelle has been responsible for the strategic legal leadership of the Applied Solutions Group. The Applied Solutions Group consists of 24 industrial manufacturing companies providing components, engineered products, and industrial services across six segments (cargo control, aviation, electronics, thermal, metals, and recycling). Her practice focuses on commercial transactions, intellectual property, supply chain, and M&A for all 24 operating companies in the Americas, EMEA and APAC. She also manages corporate governance, as Assistant Secretary to the holding company.


Carolyn Burbrink
Carolyn Burbrink is the Senior Counsel at Uber and the manager of a dynamic team in an exciting, fast-paced safety and insurance litigation environment. She oversees claims and litigated matters throughout the central region of the US and all of Canada. Carolyn also supports Uber's international team overseeing APAC claims, litigation and business.


Jessica Gao
Jessica Gao is an Associate General Counsel at Cars.com. As an in-house counsel, she has experience in a wide range of topics, with a focus on data privacy, information security and intellectual property. Using her diverse skill sets, she works to drive effective communication and connection within Cars.com. Prior to joining Cars.com, she worked in the retailer and fintech industries. When she's not working, Jessica is an avid traveler and reader, and trying her hand at home renovation (with mixed results).

Christina Liwski
Christina Liwski is the Assistant General Counsel at Nexus Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Nexus, Christina worked in a variety of other legal positions, including in-house at a tech company, a large international law firm, and as a criminal litigator for several years.


Michael Rispin
Michael Rispin is a results-oriented legal advisor and people manager with over 9 years of experience advising technology companies on securities law issues, corporate governance, commercial transactions, technology transactions, financing transactions, M&A transactions, compliance, and overall legal strategy. He has served as in-house counsel for small, mid, and large public companies, including two IPOs. Michael also has a successful track record of building and optimizing legal teams and workstreams.

Michael has a financial background. He is certified in ESG and sustainable capitalism from Berkely Law and is certified as a Fraud Examiner by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Prior to becoming an attorney, Michael attended law school at night while working full-time during the day at the U.S. Securities And Exchange Commission.


Theresa Shea
Member of senior executive team formulating and implementing corporate strategy with $5M P&L ownership of eight -person Legal Department. Responsible for all aspects of corporate governance, M&A, commercial, litigation, regulatory, technology/IP and labor/employment/benefits practice areas as well as ethics & compliance program.
