He advises the Board and executive leadership team on legal, governance, compliance, ESG, and strategic business matters across multiple jurisdictions. With extensive experience in the mining, energy, and financial sectors, Gustavo has led complex cross-border transactions, corporate governance initiatives, and sustainability-related programs. He is particularly interested in the evolving role of General Counsel as a driver of responsible business practices, stakeholder engagement, and long-term value creation. Gustavo holds a law degree from the University of Monterrey and an LL.M. from Georgetown University.
