Marcela Villavicencio Arana is the Director of Legal and Institutional Relations at Repsol in Peru. She holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's degree in Business Law from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid. With over 27 years of experience in the energy sector—including more than 17 years as in-house counsel at Repsol—she has also served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Peru and Latin America. In addition to her role at Repsol, Ms. Villavicencio Arana serves as Representative and Section Lead of the Peruvian Chapter of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN). She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the National Society of Mining, Petroleum, and Energy (SNMPE) and the Peruvian Society of Hydrocarbons (SPH), as well as a member of the Executive Committee of the Association for the Promotion of National Infrastructure (AFIN).
