Amit Koshal is the founder and CEO of Photon Legal, an AI-native IP law firm and legal tech company. He spent five years at Motorola filing the patents behind the Moto Razr, then eight more running IP in-house and advising companies on their portfolios.

He founded Photon Legal in 2019 around a model built on the outcome. Every patent has one fixed price, agreed before work starts, and is granted in under 11 months or the fee is returned. From a standing start, the firm has grown quickly. Its team of engineers turned lawyers has now filed more than 3,000 patents for over 100 companies, at a 97% grant rate.

Amit hosts the Photon Podcast, which recognizes general counsel and tells their stories to the world. More than 100 of them have also been featured on a billboard in Times Square.
