Bryon Brown serves as Executive Director of the Office of Systems and Analytics at the New York City Department of Education. In this role, he leads technology and data governance for the Office of the General Counsel, which comprises over 400 attorneys and legal staff, and is responsible for shaping how the Office's systems align with the broader mission of the nation's largest school system. His work is about building systems that endure, that safeguard due process, and that provide outcomes families and educators can depend upon. It is also about ensuring that the Office is a wise and faithful steward of the public’s trust and of the people’s taxes.

In recent years, Mr. Brown's team has scaled Thomson Reuters’ HighQ platform with more than one hundred and fifty automations, including forty-nine distinct legal communications that are customized to meet the specific needs of families in different circumstances. These efforts have streamlined workflows across three major offices, modernized how families are served, and ensured that resources are managed with care. His team has also built analytics frameworks that allow senior leadership to govern due process at scale while strengthening fiscal responsibility.
