Donna M. Brown is a senior corporate, securities, and privacy counsel with dual licensure in Florida and Massachusetts. Since 2021, Ms. Brown has worked as Associate General Counsel and recently Interim General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at Great Minds PBC responsible for all legal aspects of the print and digital publishing company, including intellectual property, privacy, AI, corporate governance, corporate finance and employment law.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Brown worked as Senior Counsel at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, where she was responsible for drafting and negotiating documentation related to hospitality operations, mergers and spin-off transactions, finance transactions, technology, and domestic and international real estate acquisitions.

Though her prior work as Assistant General Counsel at CNL Financial Group, Vice President at State Street Corporation, of Counsel at Baker & Hostetler, LLP, Vice President, and Assistant General Counsel at Monster Worldwide, Inc., Ms. Brown has gained extensive experience with securities regulations, corporate governance, corporate finance including securitizations and credit facilities, intellectual property, privacy, compliance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Brown graduated from Harvard Law School and Yale University. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and has been a past faculty member of Lex Mundi International Mergers & Acquisitions trainings for mid-to-senior level corporate counsel in global law firms.
