Tamzin started practicing mindfulness in 2006, to support her wellbeing and performance in the high pressured working environment of a City law firm. Previously a lawyer for over 10 years, Tamzin qualified into Litigation at Herbert Smith Freehills in 2005, before moving in-house as a media lawyer at ITV Studios and then BBC Worldwide (now BBC Studios), the commercial arm of the BBC. Eventually retraining as a mindfulness teacher, Tamzin now has a First Class Masters degree from King’s College London in the Neuroscience and Clinical Applications of Mindfulness. She was awarded the MSc Mindfulness Prize in 2015 for her original research on mindfulness and mental health. Known for her warm and engaging presentation style, Tamzin has extensive experience delivering mindfulness training across a variety of sectors including law, finance, management consultancy, pharma, consumer and luxury goods. She is currently working with several large US and UK law firms to integrate mindfulness into their workplaces.
