Katie left private practice 7 years ago to qualify as a Pilates teacher and began her in house journey with Reckitt Benckiser (FMCG) eventually becoming Head of Legal for their Global function. She is currently the Global General Counsel for Crabtree & Evelyn and is passionate about upskilling her team to deal with the inevitable disruption legal teams will face, not just in retail but sector wide. She teaches Pilates outside of work hours and, as an advocate of flexible working, is interested in how tech can improve the work life balance of legal teams in-house and at private practice.
