Helen started her career at Allen & Overy in London and following in house roles in financial services and marketing communications, joined Smith & Nephew, a leading global medical technology company, in 2013 to establish their emerging markets legal function. She is currently the Associate General Counsel - Global Commercial for Smith & Nephew based in the UK and heads up a team of 12 lawyers plus paralegals who support the Smith & Nephew group globally on general commercial, corporate, regulatory and compliance matters.
