Katie is a banking lawyer who began her career at Allen & Overy after completing a degree in Jurisprudence at Oxford University. Katie then moved to Farrer & Co. where she helped establish the newly formed banking team. Katie made the move in-house in 2014 when she joined Bank of London and the Middle East as their senior legal advisor. Whilst there, she advised on a range of banking and corporate-law matters, including Sharia-compliant lending products. Katie joined C. Hoare & Co. in March 2015 and is responsible for managing the bank's legal risk. She is also the bank's Company Secretary and works closely with the chairman to co-ordinate the activities of the Board.
