Audrey serves as in-house counsel for AARP, the largest social mission tax-exempt organization serving the fifty-plus and retirement community, with 38 million members. Audrey works with departments across the organization, including public policy, government affairs, membership management, state and local offices, and AARP Foundation. Audrey oversees data privacy compliance for AARP and advises on privacy trends and legislation affecting older Americans. In addition, Audrey advises AARP Innovation Labs, an in-house venture capital and innovation center which invests in and develops new products and services for fifty-plus consumers.

Previously, Audrey worked in the legal department of Bloomberg BNA, where she advised on 401(k), pension plan, retiree health and other benefits compliance issues, and served on the company’s Pension Administration Committee, in addition to providing general corporate counsel on privacy, compliance, technology, media, commercial, employment and other matters. Prior to Bloomberg BNA, Audrey was in-house at Discovery, Inc. advising the television and streaming video content distribution teams for US networks. Audrey began her career in private practice with the law firms Chadbourne & Parke (now Norton Rose Fullbright) and DLA Piper.

Audrey holds a BA in History from Princeton University and a JD from Georgetown University. Audrey is an Advisory Board Member of the Future of Privacy Forum and serves on the Women’s Leadership Network for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. She was recently recognized by DCA Live as Top 40 Corporate Counsel and by ACC National Capital Region as a finalist for Outstanding In-House Counsel in 2018, and has spoken on various topics for ACC and Bloomberg Law.
