She served as the lead support to Bridgestone's Global General Counsel as the company advanced the globalization of its legal function, coordinating cross-border initiatives and change management efforts across teams spanning multiple cultures and geographies. During eighteen months working in Tokyo, Emily gained firsthand experience navigating cultural differences and building consensus in a global organization.
Before joining Bridgestone, Emily practiced in the Intellectual Property Group at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis. She earned her B.A. in English from Columbia University and her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Tennessee College of Law.
