Leslie South is General Counsel for the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), where she serves as chief counsel to the Commissioner and TDOT leadership and as lead legal advisor for the Choice Lanes public-private partnerships (P3) program. With more than 15 years of public-sector legal experience, Leslie has an extensive background in transportation infrastructure, construction and engineering procurement, public-private partnerships, alternative project delivery, state and federal contracting, major project development, construction claims, administrative law, and legislative matters.

Beyond her work in transportation, Leslie is President and Co-Founder of Gladiator Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization sponsoring brain cancer research and patient support. Leslie holds a J.D. from the University of Tennessee Winston College of Law and a B.A. from Trinity University.
