Beth Gibson is the General Counsel of Bastion–a stablecoin issuer and custodial wallet provider. She has extensive global licensing and regulatory experience. She led the global regulatory legal team at Western Union and the enterprise compliance risk management program at TIAA–including for its bank and global asset management company, Nuveen. Beth has more than a decade of government experience, serving as an Assistant United States Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice investigating and prosecuting a wide variety of cases. She served as a Senior Counselor and Assistant Deputy Director within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security navigating complex issues.
