Lindsay B. Schall serves as Deputy General Counsel, Securities & Governance at Duke Energy Corporation, where she advises on securities regulation, public company reporting and disclosure, corporate governance, and board matters. She also serves as Corporate Secretary and legal counsel to the Duke Energy Foundation.
Ms. Schall has more than 16 years of corporate and securities law experience. Prior to joining Duke Energy, she served as Managing Director and Associate General Counsel – Head of Corporate Legal at Sunlight Financial, where she advised on the company’s 2021 IPO, M&A, capital markets, corporate governance, executive compensation, compliance, and litigation matters. Previously, she was Assistant General Counsel and Private Equity Team Leader at Barings, advising on M&A and governance matters for portfolio companies. She began her career in private practice at McGuireWoods LLP and Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP.
Ms. Schall received her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, from The College of Wooster.
