Heidi Bundren is the Chief Legal Officer for the Nashville Predators, where she oversees the organization's legal affairs, compliance, governance, and enterprise risk management. She serves as the chief legal advisor for the NHL franchise, Bridgestone Arena, Ford Ice Center, F&M Bank Arena, and the organization's transformational capital projects, including the ongoing Bridgestone Arena renovation.
As a trusted strategic advisor, Heidi believes the legal function should be a business enabler—not a barrier to growth and innovation. She partners with business leaders to identify practical, risk-informed solutions that advance organizational objectives while protecting the organization's interests. Her practice spans labor and employment, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, litigation management, and enterprise risk. She also works closely with the organization's human resources team and collaborates with the vendors and stakeholders that support the Nashville Predators' and Bridgestone Arena's daily operations.
Heidi joined the organization in 2015 as Senior Counsel, was promoted to Assistant General Counsel, and later to Senior Vice President & General Counsel before being named Chief Legal Officer.
Before joining the Predators, Heidi clerked for the First Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas, and practiced commercial litigation at an Am Law 100 firm. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a consultant with KPMG, where she advised clients on business and operational matters.
Heidi earned her J.D. in 2015 and brings a unique combination of legal, business, and operational experience to her role, enabling her to provide practical, strategic counsel in the fast-paced sports and entertainment industry.
