Andowah possesses over two decades of global experience in-house legal leadership, BigLaw, Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, NGOs, and Big Four accounting. Her clients have spanned the tech, CPG, entertainment, media, luxury, fashion, and beauty industries.

Andowah has expertise in litigation strategy, dispute resolution, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and high-stakes litigation and negotiation. An AI and technology enthusiast, she regularly speaks at and attends AI-centered tech and legal conferences. She delivered a presentation on AI litigation, regulatory, and enforcement developments at the Chief Litigation Officer Summit and was a featured VIP guest on the award-winning Data Diva Talks Privacy podcast.
Andowah is currently Associate General Counsel & Vice President, Legal Affairs at the National Association of REALTORS®, the largest U.S. trade association, a data-driven organization with 1.4 million members and 1,200 regional, state, and local associations. Before joining NAR, Andowah consulted and provided thought leadership on legal, regulatory, business, and policy issues including, litigation, technology, AI, antitrust, and civil and human rights. She also founded and led a 501c3 youth empowerment nonprofit for ten years.
Andowah’s first in-house role was Director, Litigation Counsel at LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton for two years before being promoted to Vice President, Legal Affairs and Head of Litigation for six more years. She began her legal career clerking for the First Vice President Judge of the International Criminal Court before litigating complex commercial cases for eight years at Mintz Levin and Hogan Lovells. Prior to her clerkship, she worked as a summer associate at Dorsey & Whitney’s New York office and Hogan Lovells’ New York and Paris offices.
Andowah began her career as a CPA and auditor for PwC for two and a half years, where she was promoted to Senior Associate and her main clients were Viacom, Sony Music Entertainment, Thomson Reuters, Ziff Davis. She then worked as an internal controls analyst for The Estée Lauder Companies for two years, preceded by a multi-year accounting internship for Johnson & Johnson in New Jersey and Paris.
Andowah is a prolific speaker, delivering presentations at 30+ events globally on a wide range of legal, business, and policy topics. She served on WIPL’s Advisory Board for 8 years and was a Keynote Speaker at its 2022 panel Leading by Example: How Women Successfully Passed the Most Bipartisan, Transformational Law Ending the Silencing of Sexual Misconduct Claims.
Andowah is also a multi-award-winning survivor advocate, receiving public service and advocacy awards from Cornell Law, Womankind, Crime Victims Treatment Center, and being named a Global Top 100 Most Influential Person of African Descent: Law & Justice. She has testified before Congress and the Massachusetts State Legislature; been publicly and privately recognized by President Biden, Vice President Harris, Senators, and Congressmembers; a virtual State of the Union invitee; cited in legal treatises; and quoted by Senators, Congressmembers, and in The New York Times, Boston Globe, Law.com, Bloomberg Law, Spectrum NY1, Ms. Magazine, The Capitol Forum, Harvard Journal on Legislation, and Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights & Social Justice.

Fluent in French and conversant in Spanish, Andowah holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting and French from Georgetown University, a French business diploma from the Université de Lyon III, and dual law degrees in French and U.S. law from Cornell Law School and La Sorbonne.
