Amira is the Senior Director and Assistant General Counsel, Global Employment Law, Corporate Compliance & Ethics at Pinterest, leading the teams managing global employment law and corporate compliance matters.


Prior to joining Pinterest, she spent over seven years at Facebook, Inc. (now Meta), most recently serving as Associate General Counsel, Labor & Employment for the Global Marketing and Sales organization. She began her in-house career after working as a Managing Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.

Amira received her J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law and her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Outside of her professional role, Amira is the Governance Committee Chair, Secretary, and a National Board Member for Girls Leadership, a non-profit dedicated to equipping schools and youth-serving organizations with training and resources to help girls exercise the power of their voice. She lives with her husband and two daughters in her hometown of San Francisco.
