Kristen Budris, with expertise in U.S. and global privacy regulation, is Privacy Counsel at Dell Technologies, where she leads privacy strategy and compliance across the Americas and supports the global team on these issues. With more than a decade of experience at the intersection of technology, data protection, and commercial law, she specializes in providing practical, thoughtful, risk-informed advice to global businesses on U.S. and international privacy frameworks. Known for translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance, Kristen is a trusted advisor to executives and product teams navigating rapidly evolving privacy, cybersecurity, and AI governance landscapes.
Kristen holds a range of privacy certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), including CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, FIP, and the Certified Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) credential. She also has completed executive programs at Berkeley Law’s AI Institute and holds a Certificate in Sustainable Capitalism and ESG from Berkeley Law Executive Education.
