Ilana represents employers and executives in a variety of employment-related disputes. She has strong experience in conducting sensitive internal investigations involving public companies and other organizations. Ilana also represents individuals, investment funds, financial institutions, and public and private companies in government investigations and high-stakes white collar defense matters involving criminal and regulatory issues.

Prior to joining Akin, Ilana was an associate at a law firm based in New York City. She previously served as an assistant district attorney for the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn and as a senior attorney in the Office of General Counsel of a law firm based in New York City.

Ilana is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School where she served as an editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.
